Daily Blog 16th November

16th November 2020, Monday

I am really not a morning person. I plan to hunt for Putu Mayam (Idiyappam), I set early alarm at 7.30am/7.45am, but I snoozed it until 8.00am only I get myself out from the bed. End up I just walk to stall nearby my house and get my breakfast.

Idiyappam, also known as string hopper, nool puttu, or noolappam, is a rice noodle dish originating from the Indian states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu and as well as from Sri Lanka. It consists of rice flour pressed into noodles, woven into a flat disc-like shape and steamed. People normally eat it with brown sugar, but I preferred to eat with curry sauce. (source Wikipedia)

Another side interesting story, I already plan to wash/clean my umbrella handle that is sticky after work. So I started to wash off with soup. It is still sticky. Then I wash it with Cif. And it works. Sticky stink goes off.
While I was washing, my mom was chopping 2 big fishes. Yea, the fish is too big and the sink in our kitchen is too small to handle the chopping. Then I already finish washing, my mom is still chopping. Soon, it started to cloudy, the wind is so strong, and it start to rain. Started with drizzle rain, to thunder, to heavy rain. I was literally holding an umbrella like the picture below. 😁, hiding behind my mom (because when my mom chop the fish, somehow some of fragment of the fish will fly around). I am not an artistic person, so this picture is the closet image that I meant of.
